Who is responsible

What we collect
When you send an inquiry we collect the fields you fill in: your name, email address, company, country, phone number, estimated quantity, the product series you are interested in, and the message you write. Our web server also records standard technical logs including IP address, browser type and pages visited.
We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site trackers, or behavioural profiling. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
Why we use it
We use your details for one purpose: to answer your inquiry. That means quoting you, sending samples, arranging shipment and corresponding with you about the order. Our lawful basis is the performance of a contract you are asking us to enter into, and our legitimate interest in replying to a business enquiry addressed to us.
How the inquiry form is delivered — and the transfer involved
This website is a static site. Inquiry forms are delivered through EmailJS, a third-party email delivery service. When you press Send inquiry, the details you entered are transmitted from your browser to EmailJS, which relays them to our mailbox. EmailJS processes this data on servers located in the United States of America.
This constitutes a transfer of personal data to the United States. Where you are in the European Economic Area, that transfer relies on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses together with EmailJS's Data Processing Addendum. Where you are in China, it is a cross-border transfer of personal information under the Personal Information Protection Law, carried out with your informed consent given by submitting this form.
EmailJS retains the message according to its own retention policy. We keep inquiry correspondence for 24 months from the last contact, after which we delete it, unless a longer period is required to meet a legal, tax or contractual obligation.
If you would rather not have your details leave your browser for a US service, email sales@easooty.com directly instead. We handle that identically and it costs you nothing.
Who else sees your data
Shipping agents and freight forwarders, where necessary to deliver an order you have placed. Our payment and banking providers, if an order requires a payment. Nobody else. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict and port your personal data, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Under the PIPL you have the right to know, decide, restrict, refuse and request deletion. To exercise any of these, email sales@easooty.com. We respond within 30 days. If you are in the EEA and are unhappy with our response, you may complain to your national supervisory authority.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Inquiry data is encrypted in transit from your browser to EmailJS. We do not store inquiry data in our own web application, because the site has no server-side database.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies. It stores one item in your browser's local session storage — the number of inquiries you have sent in this session — so that we can throttle obvious spam. It is never transmitted to us.
Children
This site is a business-to-business site and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
