Quality control

Tested at four points, not inspected at the end.

Easooty controls tie-down strap quality at four points in production rather than at final inspection alone. Incoming polyester webbing and hardware are checked against specification on arrival. Operators self-check at defined points on the moulding and sewing lines. Finished units go through AQL sampling. Every production batch is pull-tested to its rated breaking strength before it is packed, and the test report is supplied with the shipment. Hardware runs a separate 72-hour salt-spray test.

The inspection workflow

  1. 01

    Incoming material

Polyester granules, woven webbing and hardware are checked against the supplier's specification on arrival: width, colour fastness, weave, coating weight and salt-spray certification for hooks.

Bags of raw polyester granules stacked on pallets in the raw material store
  2. 02

    In-process self-check

Operators check webbing tension, hook alignment, stitch length and bar-tack position at fixed points on the moulding and sewing lines. A defect stops the line rather than travelling downstream.

  3. 03

    AQL sampling

Finished units are sampled to ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 general inspection level II, with the agreed AQL applied per characteristic. Results decide accept, rework or reject for the whole batch.

  4. 04

    Pre-shipment break test

A sample from each production batch is pull-tested on a tension tester to the rated breaking strength. The report travels with the shipment and is traceable to the batch code on the carton.

Test equipment

Keeping the testers on site is what makes per-batch reports possible.

Tension tester
Pull testing to rated breaking strength, with digital load readout.
Salt spray chamber
72-hour neutral salt spray on hooks, cams and ratchet bodies.
Aging chamber
Heat-ageing samples of webbing to confirm strength retention.
Go / no-go gauges
Caliper and plug-gauge checks on moulded and stamped parts.

Traceability and documents

Each carton carries a batch code linking it to the raw material lot, the moulding run and the break-test report. Ask for the batch code list with your order and we will send it with the shipping documents.

If something is wrong

Send photographs and the carton batch code. We replace or credit non-conforming goods, and where the cause is ours we correct it at the process rather than sorting the output. Claims are reviewed within five business days of arrival.

Ask for a test report

Tell us the series and batch and we will send the breaking-strength report before you place the order.

Quality questions

  • What is your MOQ?
500 pieces per series and colour for standard configurations. Smaller quantities are possible for samples and for mixed-colour orders — ask us.
  • Can you produce our own brand?
Yes. OEM and ODM cover custom webbing colour and width, vinyl-coated or plain hooks, header cards, printed polybags and your own carton markings. Send a competitor sample and a target price and we will tell you honestly whether we can hit it.
  • How long does a quote take?
Within one business day for standard series. Custom tooling or a new webbing colour takes 7–10 days to price because it needs a physical sample.
  • Do you ship to Europe and North America?
Yes. We quote EXW, FOB, CIF, CFR and DDP, and ship to more than 30 countries.
  • Can I get a test report before ordering?
For a repeat order we can send the breaking-strength report from your previous batch. For a first order we run a test on the sample.
